Search Process

SIGNATURE SEARCH PROCESS

Our candidate search and recruiting process has proven to deliver highly qualified marketing and sales candidates.   You can expect higher retention and promotion rates than the industry average.

  • 1. CLIENT INFORMATION

    • In this client meeting, will cover job profile, company culture, organisation, job responsibilities and selection criteria
    • In addition, we will build and agree on a list of potential target industries and companies for candidate search purposes

  • 2. PROCESS TIMETABLE

    • The candidate search is complete within the 45-day timeline (21-days for entry level role)
    • Shortlisted candidates are submitted by the 3rd week
    • A final candidate shortlist is presented in the 4th week
    • Round one of company interviews are completed in the 5th week
    • A job offer is presented in the 6th week

  • 3. STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT

    • A dedicated team, consisting of an executive recruiter and researcher, determine the candidate search strategy
    • Strategy includes profiling, targeting, timing and recruiting tactics

  • 4. INDUSTRY RESEARCH

    • A full-time researcher identifies companies in targeted industries that employ people with the right backgrounds and skill sets
    • Further research into each company will identify potential candidates, their current positions and contact information

  • 5. DIRECT SOURCING

    • An experienced recruiter will contacts and approach the employed targets to assess their initial interest and fit
    • We choose 10 – 15 candidates from the 100-150 direct phone calls made.   The initial shortlist will then be subject to a 30-minute phone interview

  • 6. CANDIDATE LIST

    • Our candidates must pass through 4 steps to ensure they are Top Talent
      1. Complete a Candidate History Check including declaring their prior performance review ratings
      2. An initial phone screening
      3. A behavioural test assessing their suitability to the role
      4. A deep dive 1.5 hour interview
    • At this point we will present an initial candidates list to give you an opportunity to fine tune our targets

  • 7. CANDIDATE EVALUATION

    • On average, 8-10 candidates will go through a 1 hour competency-based behavioural interview where we further evaluate and assess their potential fit
    • When completed, we will present a shortlist of 3-5 candidates who will be ready for in-person company interviews
    • Each candidate submitted will include a candidate summary with insights, strengths and weaknesses, position and company fit assessment

  • 8. NEGOTIATE OFFER

    • You select your final candidate
    • We coordinate psychological assessments, conduct background and reference checks, review benefits and negotiate the offer
